In order to work in catering or in construction in Australia you will need to complete a one day course.

RSA Certificate - €95/£70/CA$145: Responsible Service of Alcohol: 1 Day Course
All staff involved in the sale, supply or promotion of alcohol need to complete the course. The RSA is a competency based 6 hour program with a certificate issued on completion of the course.
CONSTRUCTION
In order to work in construction you need to complete a 1 day construction course.
Green Card - €95/£70/CA$145: Construction Industry Occupational Health & Safety: 1 Day Course
According to the Australian Occupational Health and Safety regulations if you are involved in a trade or simply working on a construction site, like most working holiday maker do, you are legally required to have attended the Workcover Accredited Safety Induction Training for Construction Course - commonly known as 'the Green Card'.
This courses provide participants with basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry in New South Wales,Queensland and Western Australia and information about preventing workplace injury and illness, workplace injury management and workers compensation in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
*These courses are run daily/weekly and take one day to complete.
