Yes, the original passport is required to apply for the visa.

• The original passport (valid for at least four months after return date);
• Two passport size photos;
• The Visa application form;
• Copies of the airplane tickets;
• Prepaid and self addressed envelope.

The tourist visa is only valid for leisure or recreational purposes.

Your visa is valid for 30 days (starting from the moment of entrance in Cambodia). Once in Cambodia it can be also extended once for up to another 30 days.
